Unseminar 6 Adventures in San Antonio & Beyond
Unseminar VI is over. If you attended or followed along on Pat O'Bryan's Portable Empire TV, you probably thought Unseminar ended just over a week ago but you'd be wrong. But don't worry, I'll fill you in on what you missed. Craig Perrine and I drove down to San Antonio the day before the official start of the seminar. After checking in at our hotel, we walked over to world famous Mi Tierra for dinner. A few weeks earlier, I'd been contacted by Scot McKay on Twitter. Scot and his lovely wife, Emily, are Internet marketers working in the dating/relationship niche. The ...
Product Review: Twitter Follower Programs: Scam or The Real Deal?
I've been on Twitter now since last summer. My list of followers grew slowly but surely for several months until I got a little more proactive. Along the way, I've come across numerous tools, apps, courses and videos promising to send my number of followers through the roof. A few months ago, I started seeing people tweeting "RT @garymccaffrey has a crazy idea. 19,530 new twitter followers in 30 days? Check it out http://tweetergetter.com/". I knew what to expect but since I knew people would ask me about it, I checked it out. What I found was a free service that ...
So, Anything Good on TV?
It's Pat O'Bryan's fault, really. One night we were hanging out at Maui Wowi, a local coffee house after I was a guest on his Ustream broadcast. "You need to get your own TV show", said Pat. At a Siglo IV meeting the other night, he reminded me he's been telling me this for 15 years. I may have taken the job anyway but I definitely had Pat's voice ringing in my ears when the call came... But I'm getting a little ahead of myself. So let me back up a little. It started about six months ago. I'd just lost my Father and ...
It was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness…
"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times; it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness; it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity; it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness; it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair; we had everything before us, we had nothing before us; we were all going directly to Heaven, we were all going the other way." Charles Dickens Last weekend at Armand Morin's Big Seminar, several people told me they'd either been bumped off ...
Dad is gone: Chuck Hibbler (1931-2008)
I am not Bill Hibbler and Chuck Hibbler was not my Father. Well, not at first anyway. Originally, my name was Matt Kittrell. More on that in a minute. Dad passed away last Thursday after battling cancer for seven months. We buried him on Monday. I'd like to tell you a bit about how I came to know him. When Dad and I first met, we were competing for the attention of the same woman, my Mother. This led to, oh, one or two conflicts. Just the other night, I heard Dad tell the story of his first date with Mom. My Mom and I ...

Using Twitter for Mastermind Group Messaging & More
On Wednesday, I talked about how to build relationships online using Twitter. I mentioned that Twitter can be a great way to keep up with your mastermind group, students or any group of friends or co-workers. One challenge has been that Twitter has no group messaging function. You can do a post which will be seen by everyone that's following you or you can message individual followers. In today's video, I show you how to send group messages to single or multiple groups you create using a free, third-party website setup for this purpose. Click on the video below to watch or, ...

What is Twitter and why should you care? Are you interested in a free online service to… Find experts to interview to create new products? Sell more products? Stay in touch with your clients, students or mastermind team? You can do all this and more with Twitter. It won't cost you a penny and you don't even need your computer. I often post via text messaging from my cell phone. It's kind of like a micro-blog post. Watch this video and see ...
Road Trip: World Wellness Albuquerque
After catching up on our sleep on the long drive west, Lisa's Uncle Mike took us to breakfast at the Flying Star Cafe in Albuquerque's Nob Hill district. The Flying Star is a hip coffee house/restaurant with great food, good coffee and free wi-fi. We ended up going back several times. Nob Hill is near the University of New Mexico campus. We drove down Central Avenue and spotted dozens of boutiques, coffee shops, restaurants, galleries and an art house cinema. Across the street from the Flying Star, I spotted a place that was a salon cafe. Not sure I'd want ...
